Happy 4th Everyone!
WOW!! Another 4th of July is upon us, it seems to have come so fast. This year part of us are not participating in the normal things we used to do. My home in in shambles right with the building of the home in back that our daughter is building for her and the kids, so we are just hanging out.
Our daughter and the kids, plus her sister will head to her in-laws for a barbecue. Next year when all is done, I plan on having a few friends over for food and drinks, but today I just did laundry, dishes and the usual. Maybe we will order out lol and enjoy some delivery. It doesn’t seem that long ago that Sean was with us, and we all had so much fun. Now everything is different and not as much fun as it used to be. I know I sound cryptic, but when someone is gone unexpectedly it shocks you to the very core of your being. Sometimes you do not come back or ever get over it. You just are. Anyway, we have had some good 4ths that I remember very fondly. I know it is cliche, but we always have watermelon on the 4th and we have never had a bad one. What are your fond memories of past or present 4ths in your lives?
