4th of July
Everyone enjoys a holiday when you have someone to share it with, most people do not like being alone we are a social species. So, I got to spend a little time with my granddaughters since their mom had to work. I got some precooked cookies so all we had to do was decorate them. I laid out newspaper and we did a few, then ate a few as well. I also bought them the party poppers to use at their nanas home they were going to for supper after mom got home. This is our new norm now it is different, not how we used to spend the 4th a few years ago. I loved those days they were filled with much more laughter and fun. When they girls left for nanas home, I went to their house and babysit their dog Penny, since fireworks were going off, she did pretty good I was really happy with how well she did. I watched two movies and relaxed until they called me to pick them up. I was the designated driver lol. We all live close to each other so no big deal. See a few pictures below.
